October 6, 2011 § Leave a comment

Internet is such a huge area where you can pick up good software and nasty malwares any time. It’s always been suggested that the security software that we will be using should give us all the necessary protection we need. I’ve recently heard the word antimalware removal from one of my colleagues; like other security software, it also promised good security content on the package. One of my colleague says that this is actually a virus instead of an anti malware software. Now let’s talk about Anti Malware and antimalware removal:
Antimalware is a misleading or a bogus application that gives false infections or system security threats, displays fake security alerts, uses browser hijacking and other methods to trick you to believe that your computer is infected with Trojans, Worms and other viruses. This bogus application is a clone of the rogue security program called Active Security. So, obviously it does have many similarities with Active Security malware. Antimalware is promoted mostly through the use of Trojans that comes from fake online scanners, fake online video websites or bundled with other malicious software. When running, this rogue program will perform fake system scans and then prompt you to pay for a full version of the program to remove the threats which do not actually exist on your computer.
This is a scam; so do not purchase this bogus application. Instead, make sure that antimalware removal is done from your computer as soon as possible. While Antimalware Tool is running it will also display numerous fake security alerts warnings that are designed to make you think that your computer has a severe security problem. I know that for computer novice like me, you will immediately panic. The text of these messages that you will get are:
